Avro Vulcan

Avro Vulcan Aviation Art

The Avro Vulcan was one of Britain’s three V-bombers and became one of the most recognisable aircraft of the Cold War. Its large delta wing and distinctive appearance were closely associated with the RAF’s strategic deterrent force, initially carrying free-fall nuclear weapons and later the Blue Steel stand-off missile.

The Vulcan also saw conventional combat during the 1982 Falklands War in the long-range Operation Black Buck missions. JET Art Gallery’s Vulcan collection includes limited edition prints covering Cold War operations, the Falklands and aircraft such as XH558, with selected editions signed by pilots and aircrew connected with the Vulcan.
