In Harrier Boys: Volume One, former Harrier pilot Bob Marston brings together personal accounts from those who flew, supported and developed the aircraft between 1969 and 1990.
The contributors include Graham Williams, who flew in the Transatlantic Air Race, Peter Dodworth of the original Harrier Conversion Team and Peter Harris, who took part in the early defence of Belize.
The Falklands period is represented by Sir Peter Squire, who commanded No. 1 (F) Squadron during the conflict, and Australian Dave Baddams, who commanded the Royal Navy Sea Harriers of 800 Squadron.
The 192-page paperback combines operational history with the personal experiences, camaraderie and pride of the Harrier community.
