This Darryl Legg ensemble commemorates the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and the pilots who flew the type during the Battle of Britain.

The Bf 109 was the Luftwaffe’s principal single-seat fighter during the battle and continued to be developed throughout the Second World War.

The artwork is triple mounted with silver-finished Luftwaffe pilot’s wings and measures 16 × 12 inches unframed. The product image shows the Rivet Framed option.

Its defining feature is the set of three original signatures: Major Heinz Lange, General Gunther Rall and Major Erich Rudorffer, with their recorded Knight’s Cross distinctions retained above.
