The stories cover the aircraft’s maritime and anti-submarine roles as well as operations during the Falklands Campaign, the First Gulf War and later anti-drug-smuggling work in the Caribbean.
Contributors also recall the International Fincastle Competition, crew life and the aircraft’s navigation and electronic systems. The perspectives include a female air electronics operator and a flight-test observer reflecting on the cancelled Nimrod MR4 project.
