HMS Hermes prepares to launch Sea Harriers while a Sea King stands off. HMS Arrow is prominent in the foreground, with HMS Sheffield, HMS Glamorgan, RFA Olna and RFA Resource also represented.
The Task Force was dispatched following the Argentine invasion of the Falkland Islands. The campaign ended on 14 June 1982 when the Argentine garrison surrendered to Major General Jeremy Moore RM, Commander of British Land Forces.
Each print is signed by Robert Taylor and Major General Sir Jeremy Moore, directly connecting the edition with one of the senior commanders of the campaign.
